Kafi Kennedy is an accomplished litigator, defender of the law, wife, and mother of two. Her career has taken her from large corporations, various judicial circuits, State Attorney offices, Public Defenders office and more. During her 17 years of service, she has handled over 4,000 cases including jury trials, motions, mediations, and a variety of hearings. Her wealth of experience has taught her that every case has a real person behind it, with a real family and real community behind them.
Kafi has also taken up the call of leadership throughout her life. In law school she was the Chief Presiding Officer of the Honor Council. As a lawyer she has served as President of the Orange County Bar Foundation and Paul C. Perkins Bar Association. She has participated in many community organizations and programs including serving on the Orange County Building Code Board of Adjustments and Appeals and the Orange County Experience. Outside of her career she is a wife, proud mother of two who ensures that her family is a priority no matter how busy she may be. Being a leader isn’t a career choice, it’s her character, and she will bring that character to the bench.
